Abstract

Feedback, Engagement, and Well-being (FEW) are critical elements for flourishing. This study examines students’ perceptions of FEW in 17 rural Mississippi middle and high schools. In October 2024 and May 2025, 3643 of the same students responded to our FEW Survey. We found students’ perceptions improved in the 11 schools where teachers received their data from the fall administration, compared to the six schools that did not receive reports. These initial findings offer insights into ways to effectively enhance student flourishing in challenging environments.
