This study explored the subject areas in which Taiwanese classroom teachers most frequently integrated music and their attitudes toward music integration. Findings revealed that music was primarily used for classroom management and most commonly integrated into visual arts, followed by Chinese, English, mathematics, social studies, science, performing arts, and physical education. Listening to music was the most frequently used musical activity. Teachers who had received professional development in music integration were more likely to apply it in their teaching. The most influential factor guiding music integration was its ability to motivate students. Overall, most teachers viewed music integration as a valuable teaching strategy, highlighting the need for more professional development opportunities to support its effective use.
