Online Interactive Educational Products: Implications on Student Outcomes?

Abstract

Online interactive educational products (OIEPs) are reported to support nursing student active learning when compared to traditional textbooks (AUTHORS, 2023). The current study compared nursing predictor scores from nursing programs that used OIEPs or traditional textbooks. Results indicated a statistically significant difference between scores for programs that used OIEPs versus traditional textbooks. The current results suggest that students who use OEIP do better on end-of-program predictor exams than students who use traditional textbooks.
