Utilizing Teachers’ GenAI Competencies instrument, this study examined teachers’ GenAI competency levels and backgroud factors that impact and predict their competencies. Results showed that teachers had overall moderate GenAI competencies, with the highest proficiency in ethical awareness and the lowest in technological and pedagogical integration. Statistical analyses revealed significant differences in teachers’ GenAI competency levels based on professional stage, subject domain, teaching experience, and GenAI use frequency.
