For decades, researchers have emphasized the importance of sustainable school-university partnerships in enhancing educational outcomes, particularly for marginalized communities (Alkaher & Gan, 2020). Yet, such collaborations often face fragility due to cultural, national, and institutional differences (Mosselson, Wheaton, & Frisoli, 2009), as well as mismatched priorities and unequal resources (Stolk & Edmonds, 2018). Despite these challenges, the Teaching for the Future Now (TTFN) program—linking two U.S. universities with five Jordanian institutions—shows how careful planning, adaptive expertise, and mutual collaboration can transform fragile initiatives into sustainable and impactful partnerships.
