Abstract

This study aims to develop an Emotional Resilience Program via ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) instructional design model and elaborate the program. The needs analysis was conducted via sixteen semi-structured interviews and 147 people who answered the Parental Contributions to Emotional Resilience Scale developed by the researchers. The design was completed by an instructional designer and two subject specialists. The implication of the program lasted six weeks with the participation of sixteen Circassian mothers and their children living in Turkiye. The evaluation of the program revealed that supporting parents and children simultaneously benefits the resilience of both parties.
