Digital Resource Utilization Environments and Digital Literacy among Chinese Engineering Students

Abstract

In the digital era, cultivating engineering college students with good digital literacy is crucial to improving the quality of engineering talent training. In this study, data on the digital literacy of 450 engineering college students were collected. First, the demographic variables affecting the digital literacy of engineering college students were analyzed for variance and found to be significantly different in terms of grade level. Then a regression equation model was constructed to measure the influence of the digital resource utilization environments on engineering college students' digital literacy, and the results revealed that the digital resource utilization environments can positively predict engineering college students' digital literacy and that there is a significant influence between grade level and engineering college students' digital literacy.
