Abstract

This study examines hidden narratives of Mexican migrant mothers navigating educational spaces in rural Idaho. Through testimonios of two mothers, we reveal strategies they employ to engage with their children's education. Using a framework integrating community cultural wealth and equitable collaboration, we analyze how these mothers challenge deficit-based perspectives. This study contributes to unforgetting marginalized histories and provides insights for reimagining equitable school collaborations with im/migrant families in rural settings.
