Abstract

This paper explores the cultivation of teacher curiosity about student mathematical thinking in professional development (PD). Drawing on a two-year research-practice partnership (RPP), we show how the evolution of teachers' curiosity, particularly about student mathematics thinking, can support more responsive, student-centered teaching.
