Abstract

This study focused on the perceptions of teachers related to what they learned from Professional Learning (PL) and the supports and facilitation that supported their learning. First, factor analysis was conducted on Lickert-style questions from a survey. Second, descriptive statistics and ANOVA testing were performed to better understand the similarities and differences between perceptions of teachers within and between PLs. Findings from the factor analysis confirmed three previously identified categories were strongly correlated and led to consolidating three prior factors into two new categories. Analyses using descriptive statistics and ANOVA tests showed that all innovative PLs were high scoring across all factors yet showed distinct differences related to the intended goals of each PL.
