The Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) is very important program for the secondary school teachers of Bangladesh. The current study evaluates the effectiveness of the TEA program in Bangladeshi context. Interview method has been used to collect data from the English language teachers. The data revealed the findings that the program made a great impact on teachers teaching beliefs, practices and sense of responsibilities. Teachers wholeheartedly tried to implement those, but they are not fully successful due to some contextual, social and national impediments. The participants also informed that the program is very brief. However, the paper paves the way for future study on how TEA program can be more effective and impactful for teaching English in Bangladeshi context.
