Abstract

This study examines the impact of environmental clubs on ecological knowledge and attitudes among primary school students in Marrakech, Morocco. Targeting 130 sixth-grade students from eight schools, the research compares club members with non-members using binary logistic regression. Results indicate that club participation significantly enhances both environmental knowledge and positive attitudes, though gaps remain in understanding complex issues like climate change. The findings underscore the value of structured, participatory activities in fostering eco-responsible behaviors and suggest that environmental clubs serve as effective platforms for sustainable education. The study highlights the need for contextualized, interactive pedagogical approaches to strengthen students' engagement with global environmental challenges, positioning clubs as catalysts for broader community awareness.
