This study explored how individual cultural values influenced feedback literacy (FL) behaviors among students in Türkiye and the US. Utilizing the FL Behavior Scale and Cultural Values Scale, we examined four cultural dimensions: individualism, power distance, uncertainty avoidance, and long-term orientation (LT) to predict abilities to engage with feedback, irrespective of national context. Regression analyses assessed the impact of demographic factors, cultural values, country, and their interactions on various FL behaviors. Findings revealed that LT was consistently associated with enhanced FL in the interpretation of feedback. Gender and national context also significantly moderated these relationships. The results underscored the importance of considering both individual-level cultural dimensions and contextual factors to better understand feedback processes in global higher education environments.
