This paper weaves a biographical narrative with curriculum theory to reveal a patriarchal system that imposes restrictions on girls’ education. It argues that including moral education centered on care in the curriculum can lead to better behaviors, not only within schools but also in society, to care for others. Using the life story of a girl from a rural area, the study highlights the importance of ethical curriculum development. Drawing on frameworks such as curriculum theory, critical pedagogy, and the ethics of care, this paper advocates for reimagining curricula to meet the needs of communities and society, aiming to shape the minds of the future/new generation for sustainable education.
