Abstract

This study examines Intercultural Bilingual Education IBE border schools of Misiones, Argentina, highlighting the interplay of linguistic diversity and cultural richness. The research explores how IBE facilitates bilingualism and intercultural understanding. Through ethnographic methods, including participant observation and interviews, the findings reveal the significance of community involvement and effective pedagogical strategies, such as code-switching. However, challenges like resource limitations and inadequate educator training hinder successful implementation. The study underscores the need for targeted policy interventions to enhance IBE practices, ultimately benefiting educational outcomes and fostering social cohesion in this multicultural region.
