Abstract

A descriptive qualitative study was employed to investigate how principals leverage transformative and culturally responsive leadership to foster AI-enhanced learning environments that promote sustainable equity. A total of 12 participants (n = 12), including principals (n = 3), Teachers (n = 3), parents (n = 3), and students (n = 3), were interviewed through a semi-structured protocol. Results show that principals use three strategies for equity: using culturally responsive practices, integrating historical context and community, and advocating for AI-enhanced education. Findings suggested that principals develop positive relationships among stakeholders to foster engagement, set high expectations for all students, and include community voices. Findings indicated that principals use interdisciplinary collaboration, innovative assessment, and integration of community voices to promote inclusivity.
