In the digital era, this study systematically reviews 26 articles on K-12 STEM talent identification using the PRISMA framework. Findings show U.S.-based research dominates, with diverse methods evolving from general to individualized approaches. Key indicators include cognitive reasoning, creativity, spatial and problem-solving skills, while socio-cultural factors like SES, gender, and parental support significantly influence outcomes.
