Supporting Native youths’ self-determined storytelling with digital technologies involves exploring what stories to tell and how to tell them. This act of exploration connotes the direct interactions that Native youth are having with digital technology software and the many capabilities and affordances it offers. In this paper, we pose exploration as a space in between ideas where Native youth are redefining their relationships with digital technologies. In so doing, Native youth facilitate their relationship with themselves, their community, their culture, and with the land (place).
