Abstract

As artificial intelligence (AI) rapidly transforms the educational context, collaboration with AI is no longer an optional skill but a fundamental pedagogical competency. This study explores the AI collaboration competencies required for Human Resource Development (HRD) practitioners, who are reconceptualized as learning architects and change facilitators, within the context of AI Transformation (AX). Using a mixed-methods design, the study develops a validated competency model based on Expert Delphi and identifies priority areas for professional development through a survey and The Locus for Focus model. Findings reveal that while educators value AI collaboration, they face significant performance gaps, particularly in strategic learning design and AI-integrated instruction. The study provides a pedagogical foundation for rethinking educator roles and constructing responsive professional development programs.
