This study examines the effectiveness of an AI-TPACK-based professional development (PD) program in enhancing vocational education teachers' AI teaching competency. Using a quasi-experimental mixed-methods design, 26 teachers participated in a three-day training, with AI knowledge test and AI-powered teaching video analysis conducted. Results revealed significant gains in AI knowledge and moderate improvements in integrating AI into instructional design, particularly in defining objectives and content delivery. However, challenges remained in designing student-centered activities. The study contributes a theoretically grounded PD model and a dual-source evaluation approach, offering practical insights into supporting AI integration in vocational teaching.
