The CETA National program aims to enhance teachers’ knowledge, confidence, and use of arts integration strategies through professional development including courses, workshops, coaching, and demonstration teaching. Across five pilot schools, teachers showed significant growth in understanding of multiple aspects of arts integration, and confidence in using arts integration strategies. Courses and virtual workshops had the strongest positive effects on outcomes. Teachers with more experience or from schools with longer arts integration histories began at higher levels in many outcomes. Although confidence and knowledge improved across all sites, frequency of classroom implementation showed limited growth, suggesting sustained practice may take more time.
