This mixed-methods study investigates the digital learning needs of older adults to inform a training program tailored to a local senior center. Drawing on survey responses (n = 47) and interviews (n = 7), the study explores which digital skills seniors most want to learn, how they prefer to learn, and how these preferences relate to their digital self-efficacy. Findings show strong interest in practical digital skills—especially online privacy—and a preference for flexible, socially supported learning formats. High self-efficacy was linked to independent learning strategies, while socially guided formats were valued across confidence levels. The results highlight the need for training programs that integrate skill-building with self-efficacy development to support digital inclusion and lifelong learning among older adults.
