Abstract

This study explores how a community-based writing group for Korean immigrant women serves as a site for both collective learning and individual transformation. Using communities of practice framework, this research examines how participants move from hesitant newcomers to confident writers, negotiating identity, language, and belonging through storytelling. Findings highlight the power of writing as a tool for resilience, self-definition, and intergenerational connection in immigrant communities.
