The purpose of this study was to investigate the chain mediating roles of school cultural climate and teacher resilience in the relationship between transformational leadership and teacher well-being. To achieve this objective, survey data were collected from 748 teachers across 64 primary and secondary schools in Mainland China. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), structural equation modeling (SEM), and bootstrapping were employed to analyze the data. The research results revealed that transformational leadership has both direct and indirect effects on teacher well-being through enhancing school cultural climate and teacher resilience. This study provides a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms through which transformational leadership affects teacher well-being and offers practical insights for educational administrators to improve teacher well-being in the Chinese context.
