This study explores how Black Millennial and Gen-Z female social studies teachers use their intersectional identities to challenge dominant curricular narratives. Grounded in Critical Race Theory and intersectionality, it examines four educators’ generational perspectives and critical pedagogies. Through qualitative case study methods, the research reveals how their personal and professional histories inform liberatory practices, elevate representation, and reimagine civic education for historically marginalized students.
