This study investigates Indonesian secondary teachers' perspectives and practices on digital literacy and technology integration. We employed an explanatory mixed-method design. Surveys were completed by 55 teachers, followed by interviews with eight of these teachers. Findings reveal teachers hold positive views on technology's role in education. They believe it enhances student learning, engagement, and critical thinking. Teachers actively promote digital literacy skills beyond just technical abilities, such as creating digital content and understanding online ethics. Challenges include unstable internet and distractions from digital applications. This research connects with previous student-focused research in Indonesia. The study offers unique insights from a Global South context, which emphasizes the dynamic nature of digital literacy education.
