Abstract

This study employed Latent Class Analysis to identify subgroups of adolescents facing risks related to traditional bullying, cyberbullying, and sexting. Five groups were found: Multi-riskers, Perpetrator/Victims, Traditional Bullying Victims, Sexter, and a Low-risk Comparison group. Multi-riskers showed the highest levels of depression and self-harm. The outcomes for the Traditional Bullying Victims group were also noteworthy. Integrating Cumulative Risk Theory and the Compensatory Competence Model, the study highlights the mental health impact of multiple overlapping adversities and calls for collaborative prevention efforts from schools, parents, and digital education initiatives.
