Abstract

Based on 1,318 SSCI-indexed publications (2015–2024), this study used Bibexcel and Pajek to map international ethnic education research. Results show rising publication trends, with the United States leading contributions. Key scholars (e.g., Trish Morita-Mullaney), institutions (e.g., Columbia University), and journals like Race Ethnicity and Education dominate the field. Research hotspots include “Bilingual Education,” “Multicultural Education,” and “Indigenous Education,” while works like Bilingual Education in the 21st Century underpin its knowledge base. These findings enhance understanding of ethnic education scholarship and inform future research.
