Abstract

As AI systems increasingly shape daily life, integrating AI literacy and moral reasoning into K–12 education has become urgent. This study presents a validated instructional design model that embeds AI concepts into morality education, addressing the limitations of abstract moral instruction. Grounded in a Type 2 design and development research framework (Richey & Klein, 2014)—which focuses on refining and validating instructional models through expert evaluation—this model emphasizes real-world application via AI-assisted ethical scenarios. A six-session curriculum on hate speech enables students to develop ethical criteria and train AI models, fostering both computational thinking and moral reflection. Expert validation confirmed the model’s relevance. This work contributes to future-oriented moral education and supports scalable efforts to cultivate responsible digital citizenship.
