This study examines how art museums can operate as catalysts for cross-sector collaboration in regional educational ecosystems. Drawing on ecological learning theory and organisational motivation frameworks, the research examines the motivations, processes, and dynamics of partnerships among art museums, schools, families, and community stakeholders. A qualitative case study methodology, employing semi-structured interviews, was used to gather perspectives from museum educators, teachers, and parents. The study aims to understand how cultural institutions extend their educational roles beyond exhibitions to foster integrated learning environments and address challenges in regional evolving educational policy landscape. By situating the museum’s initiatives within broader socio-cultural and institutional contexts, this research provides a framework for examining the development and sustainability of collaborative educational ecosystems.
