This study employs Actor-Network Theory (ANT) to comparatively analyze the construction pathways and mechanisms of future learning centers in Chinese and American universities. Using the California State University (CSU) system and Tongji University as case studies, it examines multi-actor collaboration, technological translation, and educational ecosystem restructuring. Findings reveal that CSU adopts a teacher- and policy-led model with AI as a supportive tool, while Tongji develops a triadic teacher-student-AI co-creation model emphasizing higher-order cognition and spatial reconfiguration. The research demonstrates how future learning centers emerge as dynamic socio-technical assemblages, offering theoretical and practical insights for educational innovation.
