This study examines the influence of home environment sources on student creative performance using data from the 2022 PISA Creative Thinking assessment and accompanying student questionnaire. Drawing on a sample of 15,425 students from 60 countries, regression analyses were conducted across 1,268 questionnaire variables and Confirmatory Factor Analysis was applied to validate constructs related to exposure. The findings reveal that both physical (e.g. access to books) and digital exposure (e.g. digital devices, and media engagement) are significant predictors of creativity scores. Digital exposure exhibits a slightly stronger association than physical exposure. Additionally, the number of actions taken and time spent during creativity tasks correlate positively with creative performance. These results highlight the importance of resource-rich environments in fostering students’ creative performance.
