Abstract

University students increasingly experience psychological stressors such as loneliness, anxiety, and burnout, which can negatively impact academic performance and overall well-being. This study evaluates the effectiveness of a structured, evidence-based online coaching program designed to promote resilience and mental health among university students. Delivered through a virtual platform as part of a collaboration between two universities in Europe (Germany and the United Kingdom), the program aimed to support students in managing psychological stressors. A total of 350 students participated in this mixed-methods study, which included psychometric assessments, structured learning diaries, and focus group interviews. Results indicate significant improvements in resilience, reduced perceived stress, and enhanced well-being. Qualitative insights also inform future development of scalable support programs in higher education.
