Wed, April 8, 7:45 to 9:15am PDT (7:45 to 9:15am PDT), JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE, Floor: Gold Level, Gold 3

Abstract

The COVID-19 shutdown created a new normal around online options for learning while simultaneously prompting the creation of new technology and innovations. These promote deeper learning while still allowing the flexibility offered in online learning. Existing courses, even those built for online use, can now feel outdated if they do not employ these types of innovations, particularly for learners who regularly experience learning with these types of innovations in informal learning spaces. The purpose of this presentation is to share a process created to leverage various data sources to uncover potential areas of improvement and prioritize based on stakeholder input. Early stages of implementation will also be described. An existing online introductory statistics will be the course of focus.
