A Dialogic Approach to Unlearning in the Academy: Critical Iterative Duoethnography

Abstract

Critical iterative duoethnography is a new extension of the method of duoethnography focused on an iterative duoethnography practice to explore the experiences of women of Color in academic spaces. This method extends the traditional in several ways in order to allow the researchers an ongoing method of analyzing and documenting experiences of marginalization. This presentation will present critical iterative duoethnography as an extension of traditional duoethnography and use examples from the authors’ duoethnographic work thus far.
