Preparing and Developing Equitable Leaders in the Event of a School Shooting

Abstract

The purpose of this roundtable submission is to solicit feedback on an open-source module about school shootings that was used in an educational leadership course to meet PELS Standard 5, “community of care and support for students” (National Policy Board for Educational Administration, 2015). An outline of the module and its key questions and resources will be provided as a one-page executive summary, as well as a link to the module’s ongoing draft and a feedback form for participants who want to continue to engage.
