This theoretical framework introduces Feminista art epistemology, an innovative convergence between Marcel Duchamp's creative act theory and Gloria AnzaldĂșa's reader-author co-creation insights, grounded in Chicana feminist epistemological traditions. The framework challenges colonial educational hierarchies by positioning aesthetic meaning-making as collaborative knowledge production that honors student cultural knowledge as sophisticated analytical framework. Building on rasquache pedagogy and collaborative epistemological production approaches, this work creates conceptual foundations for critique methodologies that center marginalized histories while imagining transformative educational futures. The convergence reveals how aesthetic experience provides unique pathways for collaborative knowledge production that transcends linguistic barriers while honoring embodied and cultural ways of knowing essential for educational justice and cultural restoration.
