This study investigates the impact of AI peace education training program for non-traditional early childhood education pre-service teachers in non-traditional online licensure program. Student teachers in this program explored social constructivism, critical pedagogy, and peace education training to understand early childhood developmentally appropriate peace education while fostering critical thinking skills and inclusive teaching methods. Students paired with AI partner such as ChatGPT and Copilot to develop scenario and develop critical thinking skills. According to preliminary results, there have been notable improvements in pedagogical confidence and knowledge and attitudes regarding peace education. The study emphasizes how professional development for assistant teachers and teacher aides with training in licensure programs could be revolutionized by AI human collaboration.
