Abstract

Introduction
This study explores the current state of e-health and digital literacy in the Dominican Republic. Using the E-Health Literacy Framework (Norgaard et al., 2015), we examined how educational attainment influences patient technology use.

Methodology
Survey data from community and clinical settings were collected using a modified e-health questionnaire (Sounderajah et al., 2021). SPSS analysis included frequencies, cross-tabulations, ANOVA, and Kruskal-Wallis tests.

Findings
Confidence in locating online health resources differed, finding significance by education using ANOVA, F(3,32) = 3.214, p = .035, but not with Kruskal-Wallis, H(3) = 6.872, p = .076.

Conclusion
Despite the small sample, findings highlight the need for Caribbean-specific digital health literacy research.
