Abstract

This paper introduces the Neuroinclusion Framework, a neuroscience-aligned, trauma-
informed, and equity-centered model designed to transform inclusive education. It
outlines five integrated domains—physiological, relational, environmental, instructional,
and transcendental—drawing from current empirical research to emphasize
individualized support over siloed interventions. A central innovation of the framework is
the creation of 'neuromaps': holistic student profiles linking nervous system needs,
sensory sensitivities, cognitive strengths, and identity context. By leveraging
neuromaps, educators can reduce reliance on exclusionary discipline and better serve
students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, trauma histories, and intersecting identities. This
proposal outlines the framework's components, presents implementation strategies, and
argues for its significance as a replicable model for creating authentic inclusion across
K–16 systems.
