This work explores how institutional leaders can leverage insights from physician-scientist caregivers to enact systemic organizational change. Drawing on Phillips & Klein’s (2022) synthesis of change management strategies and integrating systemic thinking and organizational development frameworks, we analyze findings from a caregiving-focused intervention. Findings underscore the need for a holistic and systemic approach to institutional support. Faculty success was closely tied to the availability of resources, the clarity of policies, and the quality of interpersonal relationships. The institutional interventions demonstrated that targeted support significantly enhance faculty well-being and productivity. These changes are not merely reactive measures, but strategic investments in the long-term success of academic and healthcare institutions.
