The role of educators in navigating the intersection of creativity and artificial intelligence is critical. As frontline implementers of educational innovation, educators are the architects of how creativity and AI converge in learning environments. Because teachers play this central role, examining their perceptions is vital for advancing pedagogical practice that fosters creative teaching and learning.
This study investigates educators' perceptions of human-AI co-creativity. The quantitative strand comprises a survey with within-subjects comparisons of creative self-efficacy and AI-assisted creative self-efficacy. The qualitative strand involves semi-structured interviews, human-AI co-created artifacts, and open-ended survey responses. Findings will be integrated and are expected to reveal meaningful patterns in how educators perceive human-AI co-creativity, with implications for pedagogical practice.
