Who does the Service Work? Comparing Trans Men Educators of Color in Schools to Trans Women and Nonbinary Educators

Abstract

This presentation juxtaposes the author’s own experience as a Latinx transgender man navigating secondary education as an educator with data from the Trans Workers in Schools Project. He compares the likelihood of being in positions of service at their schools for secondary trans men school workers compared to their women and nonbinary counterparts.
