Investigating the Role of Financial Support on Student Academic Performance at Community Colleges

Abstract

This study employed hierarchical ordinal logistic regression to examine the relationship between different forms of financial support and community college students' academic performance. Results from ordinal logistic regression suggest that students using financial aid as a primary source for tuition funding is not linked with higher self-reported college GPA.
