Abstract

Abstract
I study English as the global linguistic capital in Northern Thailand by conducting a mixed methods study at an English as a Medium for Instruction (EMI) program at a small private Christian University. I also teach an academic writing class, a TESOL methodology class and run a writing center for students who are refugees from Myanmar. This project contributes to applied linguistics and international education.
