A Review of Coherence in Mathematics Education Research: Using an AI Tool to Support Analysis

Abstract

This roundtable presentation is an exploration of the affordances of using the AI tool Research Rabbit to support identification and visualization of shared cited literature between studies included in formal literature reviews. This presentation is a slice of a larger literature review aimed at understanding how coherence is positioned in empirical studies in the field of mathematics education. The use of ResearchRabbit is explored as an alternate method to answering the question of how coherence was explicitly theorized, conceptualized, or defined in included studies.
