Abstract

This review of reviews is the first to synthesize research on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in K–12 education from 2020 to 2025. It analyzed 25 meta-analyses that met the established inclusion criteria. Across these reviews, data were drawn from over 25 unduplicated studies involving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The findings highlight the effectiveness of AI in enhancing academic outcomes for students. Key insights and implications for future research and educational practice are also provided.
