Session Type: Structured Poster Session
This structured poster session centers the voices of teachers and teacher leaders in the field to help us reimagine sustainable models for teaching that promote visionary futures. Poster presentations in this session are rooted in the histories, experiences, and perspectives of diverse teachers across diverse settings. Individual posters consider what keeps diverse teachers across diverse settings grounded in teaching (roots), what challenges they face (thorns), and what conditions are necessary for their growth (shoots). Recommendations based on findings are made to help participants consider how to promote the creation of justice-centered educational spaces that center holistic well-being, collective liberation, humanity and sustainability for teachers and students.
