Session Type: Symposium
This symposium highlights a decade-long, longitudinal, mixed-methods study focused on the experiences and success of at-promise students across three Midwestern universities. Funded by a major foundation and grounded in deep researcher-practitioner collaboration, the [redacted] project examines how institutional programs and practices shape student outcomes. Panelists—including researchers, and practitioners—will reflect on the study’s rationale, innovative methods, emergent theoretical model, and practical findings. A short project video will open the session, followed by presentations and a guided discussion facilitated by a higher education scholar. This session showcases how long-term partnerships can produce rigorous, actionable knowledge to advance equity and student success in higher education.
