Session Type: Symposium
The shifts in the political and social environment have drastically impacted the experiences and safety of those in the Latine communities. This session explores how these environmental and educational changes impact Latine students within the HSI context. The four papers utilize different methodological approaches to understand how Hispanic-Serving Institutions relate to Latine student’s identity, relationships, and resistance. The structure of the session will allow attendees to engage in conversations with others to share their experiences and co-construct knowledge.
